
Refund Policy

This Refund Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions of Brindley Cruises. By making a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Standard Ticket Bookings
​
1.1 Customer Cancellations

Cancellations made more than [insert number] days before departure may be eligible for a refund or transfer, at our discretion and subject to availability.

Cancellations made within [insert number] days of departure are non-refundable.

Booking fees and third-party processing charges are non-refundable.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. The date of cancellation will be the date the written notice is received.

2. Private Charters
​
2.1 Deposit

A 50% security deposit is required at the time of booking to secure a private charter.

This 50% deposit is strictly non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed.

2.2 Balance Payment

The remaining balance must be paid by the agreed due date prior to the charter.

Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit.

2.3 Charter Cancellations
-
If a charter booking is cancelled by the customer, the 50% deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances.

If cancellation occurs after full payment has been made, any refund of the remaining balance will be at our discretion and subject to notice period and ability to rebook the date.

3. Operator Cancellations
Brindley Cruises reserves the right to cancel or amend a booking due to:

Severe weather conditions

Mechanical failure
-
Safety concerns
-
Insufficient bookings
-
Events beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure)

In such cases, customers will be offered:

A transfer to an alternative date, or
-
A full refund of monies paid (including deposits where applicable)
​
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential costs, including travel or accommodation expenses.

4. Late Arrivals & No Shows
Failure to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure will be treated as a no show. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or missed departures.

5. Seasonal & Special Events
For high-demand seasonal events (including Ghost Tours and Search for Santa), tickets may be strictly non-refundable unless cancelled by Brindley Cruises. Event-specific terms displayed at the time of booking shall take precedence.

6. Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds will typically be processed within 5–10 working days, depending on the payment provider. Processing times may vary.
