These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Brindley Cruises. By purchasing a ticket or boarding our vessels, you agree to the following terms.
1. Bookings & Payment

All bookings must be made in advance via our website or authorised booking partners.

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

A booking confirmation will be sent by email. It is your responsibility to check the details are correct and notify us of any errors promptly.
2. Ticket Policy

Tickets are non-transferable unless agreed in writing.

Tickets may not be resold.

We reserve the right to refuse entry if a ticket is invalid or has been altered.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Customer Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 14 days before departure may receive a refund or transfer (minus any booking fees, if applicable).

Cancellations made within 14 days of departure are non-refundable.
Operator Cancellations
Brindley Cruises reserves the right to cancel or amend a trip due to:

Severe weather conditions
-
Mechanical issues
-
Insufficient bookings
-
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
In the event of cancellation by us, customers will be offered:

A transfer to an alternative date, or
-
A full refund
We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or other associated costs.
4. Arrival & Boarding

Passengers must arrive at least 15 minutes before departure.

Late arrivals may not be permitted to board and refunds will not be issued.

Boarding is at the discretion of the skipper.
5. Safety Onboard

Passengers must follow all crew instructions at all times.

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult.

Appropriate behaviour is expected; disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the vessel without refund.

Life-saving equipment is provided onboard and must not be tampered with.
6. Accessibility
Due to the historic design and layout of our narrowboats, including emergency exit restrictions and limited internal space, wheelchairs cannot be taken aboard our vessels. Boarding involves steps and may not be suitable for guests with significant mobility impairments.
Customers are encouraged to contact us prior to booking to discuss individual requirements.
7. Alcohol & Conduct

Alcohol may only be consumed in accordance with our onboard policy.

We reserve the right to refuse boarding to any passenger who appears intoxicated.

Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
8. Personal Belongings
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. Brindley Cruises accepts no liability for loss or damage unless caused by our negligence.
9. Liability

We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Participation in boat trips is at your own risk.
10. Photography & Marketing
We may take photographs or videos during events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in marketing materials, please inform a member of staff before departure.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, mechanical failure, industrial action, or government restrictions.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
